Growth Monitor app for iPhone and iPad

Growth Monitor is a medical app for healthcare professionals that enables the creation, display and storage of various interactive growth charts for multiple patients using the most recent growth references for different geographic regions and syndromes with endocrine disorder.

It includes the automatic calculation of target height, extrapolated target range and standard deviation scores and percentiles for target height, parental height and height for age, weight for age, head circumference for age, and BMI for age. It is also offers models for prepubertal children to predict the response to growth hormone treatment on the short- and long-term.

Add data and measurements
Enter gender, gestational age, date of birth, height of parents and then for one or more points in time, enter 1) growth measurements such as height, weight and head circumference, 2) puberty details such as the breasts/genitals stage, the pubic hair stage, and volume of both testes (boys only), 3) bone age obtained by methods such as TW-20, TW-RUS, TW-carpal, G&P, and BoneXpert, 4) growth hormone and other medication. Growth Monitor will automatically calculate chronological age, corrected age, target height, extrapolated target range and BMI, as well as standard deviation scores. For preterm patients, all measurements will be corrected up to the age of 2 years.

Prediction of response to growth hormone treatment
Growth Monitor allows to predict the response to growth hormone treatment for a prepubertal child on the short- and long-term. Prediction models are included for the following indications for growth hormone therapy:
•(Early) Idiopathic growth hormone deficiency (IGHD)
•Turner syndrome
•Small for gestational age (SGA)
•Idiopathic short stature (ISS)

View growth charts
Easily navigate through the different interactive growth charts for various patients/records. Slide your finger along the measurements and an overlay will appear with extra details and corresponding standard deviation scores and percentiles.

Data storage
All patient records will be stored either locally on your device or in the cloud if you have purchased a database synchronization subscription and have linked Growth Monitor to Dropbox. All data is stored encrypted.

Please note that Growth Monitor for phones is a lighter version and only enables the calculation of standard deviation scores and percentiles for height for age, weight for age, head circumference for age, and BMI for age.
